Understanding & Caring for Anxiety in Educators

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

We spend a lot of time talking about anxiety in students and how to best facilitate those who have this experience, but we do not talk enough about the anxiety that teachers, support staff, and leadership experience. Our education system demands a lot of educators in addition to the demands already on them in their personal lives. This presentation will explore the effects these demands have on an educator's nervous system, career, relationships, and overall wellbeing. You will walk away with a number of strategies for recognizing and managing anxiety in your own system.
