Attention all Elementary Math, Science, Health, CTF and Social teachers! Are you looking for a great idea to help you work with some of the new curriculum? In this interactive session, we will show you tips and tricks to share with your students in the ultimate Shop-Your-Pantry Meal Challenge to see who the savviest junior chef in the kitchen is! We will explore a food labelling activity, apply some math skills in the kitchen, learn about budgeting using foods you might have on hand in the fridge and pantry, and explore the health benefits, science, and sustainability linked to growing canola and pulses.
