Dungeons And Dragons but with Plants. Using Game Theory to teach Plant Systems

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

The Plant (and leaf cross section) isn't the most exciting thing to teach kids in the world. Let's be honest, you probably get more kids buying in if you talk about Giraffes or Sharks. However, for those science teachers that have to teach the curriculum it's always a struggle for engagement. SO- this activity might be for you. Come experience what it feels like to be a DERMAL WARRIOR (if that's your chosen character class) to grow and dominate the forest, either choking sunlight out from your friends, defending pest attacks or clogging up the root system.Come join the session to have fun and learn a fun activity to teach the plant system. THIS SESSION WILL BE HELD AT École Lindsay Thurber Comprehensive High School (4204 58 St, Red Deer, AB T4N 2L6) in room 1208.
