Do your students struggle with the concept of fields? What does action-at-a-distance mean? In this workshop participants will start with everyday materials and map out the shapes of various electric fields, use playdough to get LEDs to emit light, explore uniform and non-uniform electric fields and even complete an investigation to get an experimental value for Planck's constant. All of the resources that we are looking at during the session are classroom ready, available for free, and available in French and English. Please send an email transfer of $10.00 to laurapankratz@uniserve.com for the supplies.
