CATCA 2023 has ended

CATCA recognizes that convention is situated on Treaty 7, South of Red Deer River, the traditional territory of the Blackfoot, Tsuu T’ina, and Stoney Nakoda peoples, and that the North of Red Deer River Treaty 6, traditional Métis, Cree, and Saulteaux territory. We honour the First Peoples who have lived here since time immemorial, and we give thanks for the land.

In this session, aimed at K-8 classrooms, Chris will introduce participants to a preliminary understanding of the purpose of “maker” type activities and engage members in activities that they can bring back to their classrooms the next week. Resources to continue their learning journey will also be shared and teachers will have ideas and strategies to use in their class Monday morning.
