High School Teen Mentoring: Did you know students can earn credits?

Students can earn between 1-5 credits for mentoring. This session will provide information on Alberta Education's five,1 credit, Career and Technology Studies (CTS) mentorship courses that help students earn high school credits while deepening their understanding of the mentor-mentee relationship. The courses HSS1050: Introduction to mentorship, HSS2050: Becoming a mentor, HSS3050: Becoming a mentee, HSS3060: Extending the mentoring relationship and HSS3070: Peer mentoring are also available in French. We will look at outcomes, delivery methods and resources to support the implementation of teen mentoring CTS courses in your school.
