Students interests and Curriculum topics – How to blend them
The generational “interests” gap will always be an issue for teachers and students. How can we try to stay a step ahead of it? Join this workshop on discussing strategies that will give teachers a leverage on how to understand students likings and how to use them in the teacher’s favour. We will talk about Pokémon, Fortnite, Youtubers, trendy technology and more! Learn to see science/math/arts when children only see “zaps” and “gleams”. Understand good leveraging points to keep students engaged on boring topics and, most importantly, how to find/have fun while doing it.
