CATCA 2023 has ended

CATCA recognizes that convention is situated on Treaty 7, South of Red Deer River, the traditional territory of the Blackfoot, Tsuu T’ina, and Stoney Nakoda peoples, and that the North of Red Deer River Treaty 6, traditional Métis, Cree, and Saulteaux territory. We honour the First Peoples who have lived here since time immemorial, and we give thanks for the land.

Brittany is a certified K-12 Educator and School Administrator in Alberta. She obtained a Master’s degree from the University of Alberta in Educational Psychology and is now a Ph.D. student. During her career, Brittany has worked collaboratively with educators as both a Learning Support Teacher and Administrator in supporting student learning. One of Brittany's passions is co-creating supportive and positive relations with parents and families. She believes that parents are essential members of school teams because they are experts in the strengths and interests of their children. Brittany is a mother of two children and her son is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She has extensive experience as both a parent and Educator in working with school teams, division office staff, consultants, and medical professionals to support students with disabilities. When Brittany is not in school, she enjoys spending time with her family, long-distance running, and reading.
